About CookCalculator

CookCalculator is a free collection of kitchen calculators, cooking converters, and recipe tools built for everyday home cooks. Every tool on the site answers a specific question people search for — how many grams in a cup of flour, how long to boil an egg, how to scale a recipe for a crowd — and gives a direct, accurate answer without requiring any sign-up, account, or subscription.

What's on the site

There are currently 24 tools covering measurement conversions, cooking timers, recipe math, baking science, nutrition, and drinks. The blog publishes practical cooking guides on the same topics — from FODMAP food lists to BBQ smoking temperatures to rice-to-water ratios.

All tools are fully client-side: they run in your browser with no server calls. No data from your inputs is ever transmitted or stored.

Who built it

CookCalculator was built as a personal project and is maintained independently. The goal was simple: build the cooking tools that already exist as scattered, ad-heavy pages across the web, put them together in one clean place, and make them actually useful — with accurate numbers, clear explanations, and no friction.

Languages

Every tool and blog post is available in both English and Spanish. Use the language switcher in the top-right corner of any page, or go directly to cookcalculator.net/es/ for the Spanish version.

Contact

For feedback, corrections, or tool suggestions, email hello@cookcalculator.net. Bug reports and accuracy corrections are especially welcome — if a conversion is wrong, we want to know.
